Shop: buy & sell
Prices are fixed. They never go up or down because of what other players do.
Discovering items
You can only buy an item after you have had it in your inventory at least once. The game checks your inventory every couple of seconds, so just pick the item up and it unlocks. Press Tab after /buy to see everything you have discovered.
Items with a price show a line in their tooltip when you hover over them: the Buy price and the Sell price.
Buying
Opens a click-to-buy menu with categories: Building, Wood, Nature, Minerals, Color, Redstone, Utility, Tools, Armor and Loot. Only discovered items are listed.
Buys an item. Example: /buy diamond 16. Use stack for one full stack or max for the most you can carry in one go. The most you can buy at once is 2304 items.
Confirms a big purchase.
Cancels a purchase that is waiting for confirmation.
Shows what an item costs and sells for. Hold an item and type /price with nothing else, or name the item.
/buyconfirm. You have 30 seconds, or type /buycancel to back out.Selling
Opens the sell menu. Add hand to put the item you're holding straight into it.
- Type
/sellto open a chest menu. - Drag items into the top part. Anything not sellable simply stays unsold.
- The green button shows how much you will get, and updates live.
- Click the green button to sell. Click the red button, or close the menu, to get your items back.
- You get 70% of the buy price when you sell.
- Only plain items sell. Items with a custom name or enchantments are not accepted.
- Shulker boxes work: the sellable items inside are sold and the box itself stays with you.
- You can still sell while in combat.
Combat mode
Stops players from buying their way out of a fight.
- Hitting another player, or being hit by one, puts you in combat for 60 seconds.
- Every new hit resets the timer. A countdown shows above your hotbar.
- While in combat you can't use
/buyor/shop, and you can't glide with an elytra. - Selling is still allowed.
- Dying ends combat mode right away.
Daily quests
Every player gets 5 quests. Do the task anywhere in the world and progress is tracked for you. Each finished quest gives you 1 key of that quest's rarity.
Opens your 5 daily quests and your progress on each.
Your quests refresh 24 hours after your last refresh, even while you're online. You don't need to relog. Each of the 5 slots rolls its own rarity:
| Rarity | Chance per slot | Quests in pool |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 45% | 30 |
| Uncommon | 28% | 30 |
| Rare | 17% | 30 |
| Epic | 8% | 30 |
| Legendary | 2% | 30 |
Quest types: mine blocks, kill mobs, catch fish, craft items, smelt items, enchant items, shear sheep, tame animals, eat food and walk distance.
Every quest
| Quest | Task | Rarity |
|---|
Vault
Spend the keys you earn from quests on loot. More keys in one go means more items, bigger stacks, and a jackpot at the top.
Opens the vault menu. Pick a rarity along the top row, then choose how many keys to spend: 1, 5, 10, 15 or 20.
Keys only work on their own rarity. A rare key opens the rare vault.
What more keys gets you
| Keys spent | Items you receive | Stack size | Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2 to 3 | normal | none |
| 5 | 3 to 5 | x2 | none |
| 10 | 5 to 8 | x3 | none |
| 15 | 8 to 11 | x4 | none |
| 20 | 12 to 16 | x5 | Jackpot item |
Netherite armor pieces in the epic vault are never multiplied, so you won't get five helmets at once.
